Rules — Vick's Masters Pool

Overview

Each participant selects 6 golfers across 5 tiers before the tournament begins. Scores are based on each golfer's performance relative to par. Your best 4 of 6 golfers count toward your final score (worst 2 are dropped). Lowest total wins.

Tiers & Picks

Golfers are ranked by Vegas betting odds (most favored → least favored) and divided into weighted tiers:

Total picks: 6 (1 from Tier 1, 2 from Tier 2, 1 from Tier 3, 1 from Tier 4, 1 from Tier 5)

Your two Tier 2 picks must be different golfers.

Golfers can be picked by multiple participants — this is not a draft.

Scoring

Each golfer's score is their round score relative to par each day (par = 72 at Augusta).
Your daily total = sum of your golfers' to-par scores for that round.
Your final total = sum across all 4 rounds.
Best 4 of 6 golfers count — your 2 worst-performing golfers are dropped from the total.

Cut / Withdrawal Penalty

If a golfer misses the cut or withdraws, they receive a +8 penalty for each round they do not play.

Example: A golfer who misses the cut after Round 2 gets +8 for Round 3 and +8 for Round 4.

Tiebreaker

Primary tiebreaker: Each participant submits a guess for the winning golfer's final score relative to par (e.g., -10, -14). Closest guess wins.
Secondary tiebreaker: If still tied, the pot is split evenly.

Entry Fee & Payout

Entry fee: $20
Winner: Takes the entire pot minus the runner-up refund.
Runner-Up: Gets their entry fee ($20) back.

Example (8 participants × $20):

Total pot: $160

How it works: After the tournament, each prop is graded Yes/No or Over/Under. Whoever gets the most correct answers takes the entire side pot. If multiple people tie for most correct, the side pot is split evenly among them.

Will there be a hole-in-one during the tournament?
Will Sam Stevens make an eagle during the tournament?
Will Sam Stevens shoot under par in any single round?
Over/Under 67: Lowest single round score by any pool golfer? (Over/Under 67)
Will the winning score be -10 or better?
Will the leader after Round 1 go on to win the tournament?
Will the tournament end in a playoff?
Over/Under 40: Where will Sam Stevens finish on the leaderboard? (Over/Under 40)

All 8 props must be answered to participate. Side bet is independent of the main pool — you can win both!

Deadline

All picks must be submitted by Wednesday, April 8 at 11:59 PM ET — before Round 1 tee times on Thursday.
